Lok Sabha Election 2024:Congress released its eighth list for the Lok Sabha elections on Wednesday night. In this, the party announced candidates for 14 Lok Sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Telangana. Candidates have been decided for three seats in Madhya Pradesh. Pratap Bhanu Sharma has been fielded against former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh in Vidisha, the hottest seat of the state. At the same time, ticket has been given to Rao Yadvendra Singh in front of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Guna seat. Whereas, Tarwar Singh Lodhi was made the candidate from Damoh. Congress party has so far announced 209 candidates.

Now candidates are yet to be announced for 3 seats of MP
Let us tell you that till now Congress has finalized the names of candidates for 25 out of 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh. In the eighth list released today, candidates have been announced for three seats of Madhya Pradesh. Now only Gwalior, Morena and Khandwa seats are on hold. Whereas Congress has left Khajuraho seat for Samajwadi Party as part of the alliance.

Names of 4 candidates of UP announced
Congress released the second list for Uttar Pradesh, in which Doli Sharma from Ghaziabad, Virendra Chaudhary (MLA) from Maharajganj, Nakul Dubey from Sitapur and Shivram Valmiki from Bulandshahr have been fielded. Last time Supriya Srinet had contested the elections from Maharajganj seat. The party has not given him a chance this time. However, an announcement is yet to be made regarding Amethi and Rae Bareli, the traditional seats of the Gandhi family. Congress’s 7th list came on Tuesday
Congress has included the names of three candidates from Jharkhand and seven from Telangana in today’s list. Whereas, a day earlier on Tuesday (26 March) the party had announced the names of 5 candidates. The party had finalized the names of 4 candidates from Chhattisgarh and one from Tamil Nadu in the 7th list.
