Gyanvapi Masjid Survey Live Updates: A team of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) officials will resume the scientific survey of the Gyanvapi mosque complex in Varanasi at 10.30 am on Monday. Advocate Sudhir Tripathi, representing the Hindu side, said that today being the fifth Monday of the month of ‘Saawan’, there could be a slight delay. A scientific survey of the Gyanvapi mosque complex adjacent to the Kashi Vishwanath temple, except for the Vajukhana, is being carried out to determine whether the mosque was built over a pre-existing temple. According to media reports, in the survey conducted last Sunday, some religious marks were found under the dome of the complex and in the basement. On the basis of the prepared map of Gyanvapi, its shape and construction has been drawn on the topography sheet. Videography and photography of the walls have been done. In addition, more than 20 signs of religious significance have been found.
