Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi Adityanath) visited Prayagraj on Friday. During this, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Nandi were also present with him.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 226 projects worth Rs 768 crore in Prayagraj. First of all, the CM inspected the newly constructed flats along with the officers of Prayagraj Development Authority. The CM said that before 2017, any mafia used to encroach on government land in the state. Now on the same land we are building houses for the poor. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 54 lakh people have got houses. Very soon 10 lakh people are going to get houses. Earlier state governments used to stand with the mafia.

Prayagraj is the land of education and justice: CM Yogi

CM Yogi further said that Prayagraj is a mythological city. Apart from this, it has also been the land of education and justice. Today, I would like to tell all the development authorities of the state that they should also do the work of building houses for the poor on the land occupied by the mafia in their cities. A convention center should also be built in Prayagraj, the authority should prepare a DPR for this. In February, we held the Global Investor Summit. We got investments worth 36 thousand crores. If there was mafia rule in UP, this would not have been possible.

BJP government working for the poor: Keshav Prasad Maurya

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that what could be more gratifying than the construction of houses for the poor on the land freed from the mafia’s possession. BJP’s double engine government is working for the welfare of the poor. Pressing the lotus button means giving home to the poor and sending the mafia to jail, so it is necessary to press the lotus button in the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024.
