Akhilesh Yadav: Bear Bholu had died recently in the Safari Park in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. Now politics has intensified regarding this. Former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav has blamed BJP for Bholu’s death. He has made a post on his official social media handle X. In this post he wrote that wild animals are continuously dying in the safari park. If the management is not taking responsibility for these deaths, then the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh is guilty of this.

While posting on X, Akhilesh Yadav wrote that the continuous death of wild animals in Etawah Safari Park is not stopping. Safari’s management is directly responsible in this matter. If it is not taking responsibility for these deaths, then the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh is guilty for this, because wildlife management requires specially trained people and sensitivity. There is no need for uninitiated people to post here.

Bholu was brought from Ranchi

Let us tell you that Bholu Bear was about 13 years old. This bear was suffering from tuberculosis and liver problems. Safari Park Director Deeksha Bhandari said that ever since the bear was brought from Ranchi to Etawah Lion Safari, he was looking ill. He further informed that Bholu was tested in May 2017, the test revealed that the bear was suffering from TB and also had some problem in his liver. Safari’s doctors were continuously treating him.

Bhandari said that on September 27, 2023, symptoms of complete paralysis were found in the rear legs of the bear. Even at that time, his treatment was started immediately, but even after timely treatment, he remained unable to walk. He said that every possible immediate medical treatment is provided to the wildlife. He also said that on the morning of September 28, the bear showed signs of paralysis in its front legs and it died on the afternoon of Thursday, September 28.
