Bangladeshi woman reached India.

Bangladeshi Women Sonia Akhtar: The case of Seema Haider, who came to India from Pakistan, was still going on that now a woman from Bangladesh has reached Noida with her child. The Bangladeshi woman has claimed that she married an Indian man in her country about three years ago and now wants to live with her husband. This woman has been identified as Sonia Akhtar.

What did the Bangladeshi woman tell

According to Sonia Akhtar, she was married to the Noida-based man three years ago when he was working in a private company in Bangladesh between January 2017 and December 2021. The man, who has been identified as Saurav Kant Tiwari, refused to live with the woman.

Noida police engaged in investigation

Noida police said the Bangladeshi woman accused a local man of marrying her while working in Dhaka and then eloping after having a child. In her complaint, the woman told the police that the man was already married to an Indian woman with whom he had two children. Citing the complaint, police said the Noida-based man worked for a private firm in Dhaka from January 4, 2017, to December 24, 2021. The Bangladeshi woman said that the man had married according to Islamic customs.

The Additional Commissioner of Police said that the investigation of the matter has been transferred to the Women and Child Protection Department. All claims will be investigated and documents related to claims will be verified. The police officer said the woman also claimed that the man had converted to Islam in Bangladesh to marry her. All these claims are also being investigated. Also, Bangladeshi women have come to India with visa and passport.

Seema Haider also came to India

The incident came to light after a month and a half when the Noida police caught Pakistani national Seema Haider. Haider came to India in May with her four children and lived in a rented house in Rabupura area. However, he was granted bail by the local court. The two have been living together since then, while the Noida Police and UP ATS continue to investigate the matter separately.
