The three accused in the murder of Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf will be produced in the court today. The judicial custody remand of shooters Lavlesh Tiwari, Arun Maurya and Sunny Singh is ending on May 12, after which they will be produced in the court. In view of the security, the production of all the three accused is expected to be conducted through video conferencing today.
Judicial custody may increase again for 14 days
According to media reports, the three accused in the Atiq Ashraf Murder Case, Lavlesh, Sunny and Arun, are currently lodged in Pratapgarh Jail in Uttar Pradesh. It is being told that the judicial custody remand of the three accused is ending on Friday. After this he will be produced in the court. Today the court can again extend the judicial custody remand of the three accused for 14 days. At present, all the three accused have been kept in Pratapgarh District Jail. Earlier, he was kept in Prayagraj’s Naini Central Jail, but Atiq’s second son Ali Ahmed is also lodged there, so looking at the security of these three, he was shifted to Pratapgarh Jail.

All the three accused are residents of different districts.
Let us tell you that on April 15, Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were murdered in police custody, when they were being taken for a medical test at Colvin Hospital in Prayagraj. All the three shooters had come posing as fake journalists. During this, he started talking to Atiq and Ashraf and in front of the cameras, the accused shot dead Atiq and Ashraf in the head. After this he surrendered before the police. All the three accused are residents of different districts. Lavlesh Tiwari is from Banda, Sunny Singh from Hamirpur and Arun Maurya from Kasganj. During interrogation, it was revealed that all the three accused had come to Prayagraj for the purpose of killing Atiq.
