Agra: Satsangis attacked the police in Agra, UP. Actually, the police had reached Agra Dayalbagh area to vacate the government land. Government land has been encroached upon by satsangis. But the satsangis overpowered the police. After this the police started lathicharge on the satsangis. Many policemen were injured in the lathi clash between police and satsangis.
Many policemen including SHO injured
Let us tell you that even before this, this encroachment was removed by taking anti-encroachment action. But the people of Dayalbagh Satsang had captured it again. The administration had arrived to free it from this occupation. But the satsangis attacked the police. The satsangis pelted stones at the policemen. In which many policemen including the SHO were injured. According to media reports, some journalists have also been injured in this incident. There is an atmosphere of tension here between the police-administration and satsangis since Saturday.
Akhilesh Yadav took aim
Former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has taken a dig at BJP regarding this incident. He shared a video on social media platform SP supremos have written, Dayalbagh has always been a symbol of faith, harmony, service and education. Now on the land of Dayalbagh, the ruling double engine government and the police administration are together engaged in serving the selfish interests of the BJP land pardoners.
Akhilesh Yadav further wrote, Bharatiya Janata Party is making a fatal attack on the great Indian tradition of Satsang, which the faithful and peace-loving Radhasoami followers are strongly opposing. Samajwadi Party stands with Radhaswami Satsang in protest against this injustice and is supporting in every way in the campaign to save Dayalbagh. People will not tolerate BJP’s anti-religious bulldozer. Let us tell you that Bharatiya Janata Party calls itself a supporter of Hindu religion. Here the matter is related to satsang, so the SP supremo has targeted BJP without any delay.
