Jaipur.Police has lathicharged NSUI workers protesting against the Central Government’s Agniveer scheme in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Congress NSUI’s Dungar College President Hari Godara was beheaded. Former president Krishna Godara has also been injured. NSUI workers reached the Collectorate to protest at 1 pm. Police put up barricades to stop. According to the information, NSUI workers under the leadership of state president Vinod Jakhar reached Bikaner Collectorate to protest against the Agniveer scheme. When the workers moved ahead of Ganga Theater Cinema, the police also came forward to stop them. After this, some student leaders including NSUI State President Vinod Jakhar were allowed inside, while the rest were stopped outside.

After some time, the students tried to break the barricades and enter inside. When the police stopped the workers from going inside, they started protesting. After this the police lathicharged. RAC soldiers chased and beat NSUI workers. In such a situation there was sudden chaos. The workers ran in different directions. Some students faced the police. Many workers were injured in the lathicharge.
Police lathicharged without any reason
NSUI State President Vinod Jakhar, Congress State Secretary Ramniwas Kukna, NSUI District President Krishna Kumar accused the police of adopting repressive policy and said that when the students were protesting peacefully, the police resorted to lathicharge without any reason.
Activists said – What the police did with the students was not right
Activists say that elections are on the spot and if they will not protest against the wrong policies of the Central Government now, then when will they do so. The way Agniveer recruitment has been implemented, it has played with the youth. Farmers are not getting full price for their crops. Regarding all these things, today we came to protest and submit a memorandum through the District Collector, but what the police did with the students is not right.
Lathicharge on Youth Congress four days ago
During the demonstration, the current president of Dungar College Hari Godara and former president Krishna Godara faced the police. Hari Godara’s head broke in the lathicharge. When bleeding started, former president Krishna Godara also ran to him. Let us tell you that four days ago the police had also lathicharged the Youth Congress workers. Youth Congressmen were also protesting at Bikaner Collectorate premises. Rural Youth Congress President Bhanwar Kukana and City President Pradeep Sharma were seriously injured in the lathicharge.
