After this, some student leaders including NSUI State President Vinod Jakhar were allowed inside, while the rest were stopped outside.

After some time, the students tried to break the barricades and enter inside. When the police stopped the workers from going inside, they started protesting. After this the police lathicharged. Police lathicharged without any reason
NSUI State President Vinod Jakhar, Congress State Secretary Ramniwas Kukna, NSUI District President Krishna Kumar accused the police of adopting repressive policy and said that when the students were protesting peacefully, the police resorted to lathicharge without any reason.

Activists said – What the police did with the students was not right
Activists say that elections are on the spot and if they will not protest against the wrong policies of the Central Government now, then when will they do so. The way Agniveer recruitment has been implemented, it has played with the youth. Farmers are not getting full price for their crops. Regarding all these things, today we came to protest and submit a memorandum through the District Collector, but what the police did with the students is not right.

Lathicharge on Youth Congress four days ago
During the demonstration, the current president of Dungar College Hari Godara and former president Krishna Godara faced the police. Hari Godara’s head broke in the lathicharge.
