The total cost of this bridge will be around Rs 111 crore. The people of Kota, Baran, Sawai Madhopur and Sheopur of Madhya Pradesh will get a lot of benefit from the construction of this bridge. This high level bridge will be 35 meters high and 1880 meters long. The local people have demanded several times regarding this high level bridge. After which his dream is now going to come true. DPR was approved for this high level bridge in 2020 and Rs 165 crore in 2021, but due to non-availability of forest and environment clearance, the work of this high level bridge could not be started.

High level bridge will be built in 1.5 years

Regarding this high level bridge, PWD officials say that it will take about 1.5 years for its construction. For its construction, the file has been sent to Jaipur for issue of work order by the Public Works Department, Kota. Let us inform that earlier a bridge of 1562 meters length was completed in 2018 at Ganta and Makhida in Bundi district.

This bridge will prove to be a boon for many cities including Baran and Sawai Madhopur. This Baran will be directly connected to Sawai Madhopur. At present, people had to travel a distance of 200 kms to reach Sawai Madhopur via Kota, but after its construction, the people of Baran will reach Sawai Madhopur only after traveling a distance of 135 kms. This will save people’s time as well as money.
