Rajasthan Lok Sabha Election:On Wednesday i.e. today March 20, the Election Commission released the notification of the election schedule for 12 seats of the first phase in Rajasthan. The last date for filing nomination is March 27. After this, the nomination papers will be scrutinized on March 28 and names can be withdrawn till March 30. Along with this, the nomination process will also start from 11 am, which will continue till 3 pm. No person will be allowed to enter the room or bring documents after 3 pm.

Candidates have only 5 days to enroll
According to the notification issued by the Election Commission, due to 3 days of state holiday (Saturday, Sunday, Holi) from March 20 to 27, candidates will be able to file nomination papers on March 20 to 22 and March 26, 27.

Only three vehicles will be allowed to enter
The Chief Electoral Officer said that only 5 persons, including 4 persons along with the candidate who came to file the nomination, will be able to enter the Returning Officer (RO) room. Only three vehicles in the convoy of the person arriving to file nomination will be allowed to enter within 100 meters of the RO office.

15 lakh young voters will vote
A total of 5 crore 32 lakh 9 thousand 789 voters will exercise their franchise for 25 seats in Rajasthan in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In this, 2 crore 77 lakh 38 thousand 377 male voters and 2 crore 54 lakh 70 thousand 796 female voters will participate in the voting process. There are 15.70 lakh youth, more than 55 lakh disabled and 616 third gender voters.

So far BJP has fielded 6 candidates and Congress 5 candidates for the first phase.
Voting will be held on 12 seats in the first phase in Rajasthan on April 19. BJP and Congress are looking for candidates for this. Let us tell you that out of 12 seats in the first phase, BJP has announced the names of only 6 candidates and Congress has announced the names of only 5 candidates.

Congress was wiped out in 2019
