3 youths died of poisonous gas while cleaning the sewerage chamber of a marriage garden in Pali, Rajasthan. A youth has been rescued, who has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Administrative officials reached the spot after getting information about the incident. The case pertains to the marriage garden of Keshav Nagar located on Sumerpur Road in the city.

Attempt to save the dead failed

According to the information, at around 10 pm on Friday night, 5 sweepers had arrived to clean the sewerage chamber of the marriage garden. The chamber was full of food wasted at the wedding ceremony. Of these, 4 youths were descending into the sewer and one youth was standing outside with a rope. As soon as they reached the depth of the sewer, they started suffocating due to poisonous gas. He fainted and started falling in the chamber itself. To save the youths trapped inside, the youth standing outside also landed inside with the help of a rope, but he too started suffocating due to the gas and started coming out. During this, his health had also deteriorated. Those who died include Vishal age 28 years son Chainaram Valmiki, Karan age 22 years son Mukesh Valmiki and Bharat age 20 years son Anil Valmiki, resident of Bapunagar Valmiki Basti, located in old bus stand of Pali. His body has been kept in the mortuary of Bangar Hospital in the city. At the same time, Hrithik Valmiki, 22 years old, resident of Mandia Road Kaluji Bagechi, was injured.

FIR lodged against the owner of the marriage garden

After getting information about the accident, the team of Pali Municipal Council, CO City Anil Saran, Kotwal Ravindra Singh and police force including Industrial Station incharge Hinglaj Charan. Reached the spot. The bodies of the dead youths were sent to the district hospital for postmortem. After this an FIR was registered against the owner of the marriage garden. Let us tell you that the sewerage chamber of this marriage garden was also built on the road, while according to the rules, the owner of the marriage hall has to make a chamber in his own land for the disposal of the garbage in marriage.
