Madal Dilwar on Soldier As Teachers:Ex-servicemen can be given special quota in government teacher recruitment in Rajasthan. Education Minister Madan Dilawar announced in an election meeting on Monday that in teacher recruitment, ex-servicemen will be given priority equal to B.Ed degree.
Addressing a public meeting in Ramganjmandi, Kota, Education Minister Madan Dilwar said that ex-servicemen will be able to get the job of teacher on the basis of merit and reservation. Not only this, in case of sudden demise of soldiers, their widows and dependents will also be given compassionate appointment in the Education Department.
Education department will send proposal to CM
Education Minister Madan Dilawar said that Rajasthan is the first government in the country to take such an initiative. The Education Department will soon prepare a proposal and submit it to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. The process will be started as soon as it gets approval from the cabinet.
Appointment on the basis of merit and reservation
Education Minister Madan Dilawar said that some ex-servicemen have applied for the post of teacher, but the departmental officers are not ready to accept it. He says that the education and training of ex-servicemen is less. Therefore he cannot be made a teacher. I have said that retired soldiers will have to be treated at par with B.Ed degree. Also, on the basis of merit and reservation, they will be made government teachers.
Instructions given for making proposal
Minister Madan Dilawar said, after the general death or martyrdom of soldiers, the problem of maintaining the family increases. There is no provision for compassionate appointment. Rajasthan government will provide government jobs to the dependents of the martyrs and martyrs. Officials have been asked to make a proposal for this.
