Jaipur.A major accident took place in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur. Fire broke out in the house due to cylinder leaking. A family was burnt alive in the fire. Three children along with their parents died in the accident. After controlling the fire, the police took out the burnt bodies. The police have kept the five bodies in the mortuary of Kanwatiya Hospital for post-mortem. The tragic accident happened at 7.30 am on Thursday in Jaisalya village of Jaipur.

According to the police, Rajesh (26), his wife Ruby (24), Ishu (7), Dilkhush (2) and Khushmani (4) year old child died in the accident. The family was a resident of Motihari (Bihar). Lived here on rent. Fire had come out from the regulator panel of the cylinder, due to which the fire spread in the room. As soon as the police reached the spot after getting information about the incident, they found the cylinder burning in the house and the gate of the room was blocked. Police said that Rakesh used to work in a factory. The family was living here for 4-5 months. Went to Bihar on leave for a few days. Came back only yesterday evening. An accident happened this morning.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has expressed condolences. CM has written on Twitter that the news of death of 5 civilians due to massive fire in Vishwakarma, Jaipur is heart-wrenching. I pray to Almighty God to give place to the departed souls at His feet and strength to the family members to bear the thunderbolt and speedy recovery to the injured. Instructions have been given to provide proper treatment facilities to the injured.
When the noise was made, the neighbors ran and informed the police.
People living in the neighborhood told that Rajesh had replaced the cylinder and installed a regulator for cooking. The regulator may not have been installed correctly. Due to this there was leakage and fire broke out. Within no time the fire spread throughout the room. Smoke was rising from the house. After this, when there was noise, people ran towards that house. Informed the police. The fire was brought under control after half an hour of effort.
