Earlier in the month of May also, a terrorist module was busted in Tarn Taran, Punjab. The police had arrested a henchman linked to wanted terrorists Lakhbir Singh alias Landa and Satbir Singh. While giving the information, the Director General of Punjab Police had said that the henchman Gurbej Singh was arrested on the basis of specific input. Also, he further said that Gurbej Singh has a criminal background and had come out after being released from Goindwal Sahib Jail. He said that 10 pistols were also recovered from his possession. Based on preliminary investigation, they said that Gurbej was in dire need of money and was lured by gangsters to work for them.
