After this, the Indian security forces handed over the civilian to the Pakistani Rangers.

According to media reports, BSF has informed that the Pakistani national was caught from the fence near Kamirpura village in Amritsar. He had crossed the international border and entered the Indian territory. When he was strictly questioned by the Border Security Force officials, he told that he had entered the Indian border by mistake. After this he was handed over to the Pakistani Army.

After this the Pakistani citizen was interrogated thoroughly by the BSF jawans. During this, it was learned that the Pakistani citizen had crossed the border by mistake. It was told by the BSF jawans that nothing suspicious was found from him. The soldiers of India lodged a protest with the Pakistan Army and handed over the civilian to them.
