Voting on 19th on six Lok Sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh: First phase election noise stopped, tussle between 88 candidates

Lok Sabha Elections 2024:The noise and bustle of the first phase of Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh has stopped. In the first phase, voting will be held on Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat and Chhindwara Lok Sabha seats on April 19. A total of 88 candidates are in the fray for these six seats. Jabalpur has the maximum number of 19 candidates. At least 10 candidates are contesting in Shahdol. There is electoral battle between 17 candidates in Sidhi, 15 in Chhindwara, 14 in Mandla and 13 in Balaghat. The Election Commission has made complete preparations for the elections. Strict security arrangements have been made.

Direct contest between BJP and Congress on six seats of MP
BJP has given its full strength to win Chhindwara seat. From here there is a tough fight between BJP’s Bunty Vivek Sahu and Congress’s Nakul Nath. There is a fight in Jabalpur between Ashish Dubey of BJP and Dinesh Yadav of Congress. In Mandla, Congress has fielded Omkar Singh Markam and BJP has fielded Faggan Singh Kulaste. There is direct competition between the two.

Clash between them in Balaghat, Sidhi and Shahdol
There is a close election contest from Balaghat Lok Sabha seat between Dr. Bharti Pardhi of BJP and Samrat Singh Sarswar of Congress. There is a triangular contest in Sidhi. BJP has given a chance to Dr. Rajesh Mishra while Congress has fielded Kamleshwar Patel. Ajay Pratap Singh has left BJP and contested elections from Gondwana Gantantra Party. There is a contest from Shahdol between Himadri Singh of BJP and Phundelal Singh Marco of Congress.

Voting till 4 pm in Baihar, Lanji and Paraswara
According to the Election Commission, in the first phase, voting will start from 7 am in Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Mandla, Sidhi, Shahdol and Balaghat. People can cast their votes at polling stations till 6 pm. Voting will be held in 3 assembly constituencies of Balaghat, Baihar, Lanji and Paraswada only from 7 am to 4 pm. Voting will take place here till 4 pm because this is a Naxal area.
