Dindori. The vote yatra organized by INH News and News2News.in reached Dindori district of Madhya Pradesh to probe the local issues and voters’ mind. INS News correspondent Anurag Malviya tried to find out the trends, issues of local voters, women, youth and local leaders of Dindori. Congress MLA and former minister Omkar Singh Markam, District Panchayat President Rudresh Paraste Jyoti Omprakash Dhurve, former District Panchayat President and senior journalists of the district were present in this program of Vote Yatra. Apart from this, a large number of local voters were present along with representatives of various political parties.
The matter of getting dirty drains in Narmada sprung up
The round of allegations and counter-allegations went on fiercely between the BJP and the Congress regarding the development of Didori. The local public raised the issue of drain of dirty water getting into Maa Narmada. The local MLA says that there are Narmada devotees all over Dindori. Their feelings will be taken into consideration.
The issue of alcohol also shadowed
The issue of illegal liquor also dominated in Dindori district. Congress leaders alleged that illegal liquor business is flourishing in the district on the instigation of the local administration. No action is being taken to stop illegal liquor at the local level.
Demand to set up factory in the district
Local voters raised the issue of unemployment in the district. Local people say that the leaders of both the parties, be it BJP or Congress, are not serious about employment. Despite being a Scheduled Tribe dominated district, unemployment is at its peak in the district. Local voters have demanded setting up of factories in the district to deal with unemployment in the district.
Public outrage over health services
Outrage was seen in the public regarding the health services in the district. People say that treatment is being done in the hospital in the light of torch. The local Congress MLA said that talks are being held with the government from time to time in this regard.
