Four actors can stage a play together but two directors cannot direct a play together, in such a situation, if two writers together create a theatrical work like Shivoham, then it should be considered as the beginning of a new era. Renowned color director and chairman Bharat Bhavan Nyas Vaman Kendra said this on the occasion of the release of the play ‘Shivoham’.
Achievement in writing drama on Shankaracharya
Discussing in detail about the challenges of theatre, Kendre said that writing a play on Shankaracharya is an achievement in itself and I congratulate the writer duo Satish Dave and Sanjay Mehta for this achievement. The special guest of the program, senior journalist and theater analyst Girija Shankar said that writing a play on Shankaracharya was not only a challenge, but a bigger crisis was related to the language of the play. The author duo has written the play in such simple and easy words that it has become easy to read. It was a coincidence that today writer and director Sanjay Mehta has entered his 61st year after completing sixty years of his life.

Satish Dave, the author of the play Shivoham, threw light on its background in detail and Sanjay Mehta, the second author, told that it has been staged four times so far.
