Bhopal. The farmer caught sight of the miscreants who had come to steal wheat in Khaliyan in the early hours of Thursday in Bhaurasa village located in Berasia police station area. When the farmer protested against them, the miscreants made him hostage by stuffing a cloth in his mouth. During this, the miscreants have looted 45 quintals of wheat, mobile and two thousand rupees cash in the tractor. In the morning somehow the farmer reached home and complained about the incident. The police have registered a case of robbery and started searching for the accused. If sources are to be believed, the accused is in police custody and the matter can be disclosed soon.

Station in-charge Girish Tripathi told that Radheshyam Dangi (60) lives in village Bhaurasa, tehsil Berasia. He is a farmer and has one house in the village, while the other is a top-roofed house on the farm. Radheshyam told the police that 45 quintals of wheat was kept in the barn. That’s why he was on the edge of the farm. Around three o’clock on Thursday morning, he heard the sound of a tractor and woke up from his sleep. During this, three miscreants were seen filling wheat kept in the barn. When he raised an alarm, the three youths took him hostage in the tapre. Radheshyam did not make noise, so by stuffing a cloth in his mouth, he was tied with a rope. After this, the accused fled after filling the wheat kept in the barn. Radheshyam freed himself when the rope got loose and went home and informed about the incident. The family took him to the police station and lodged a complaint. Radheshyam Dangi told that he recognizes Ravi among the accused who committed the robbery. Ravi Ahirwar lives in the village itself and had brought that tractor from someone for theft.
