CM Shivraj discussed with handcarts and those who earn their livelihood on the roads and solved their problems. Minister Bhupendra Singh said that apart from the capital, hand cart drivers and street vendors from all the urban bodies of the state participated virtually in this conference.

One thousand rupees were deposited in the accounts of all the poor families through banks.

Today, more than 7 lakh people in Madhya Pradesh are getting benefited from the Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor Scheme. Madhya Pradesh is number one in the implementation of this scheme in the whole country today.

The Prime Minister made arrangements for free ration to more than 80 crore citizens, which is continuing even at present and is making the most important contribution in getting the country out of the crisis. CM Shivraj said that at present there are 2,686 wedding zones inside Madhya Pradesh. The Urban Development Department has now sanctioned 256 new Hawker Corners. Along with this, the Urban Development Department is also planning to provide hand carts at concessional rates to the vendors. CM Shivraj said that handcart is a means of livelihood. I direct with immediate effect that no one’s handcart will be confiscated. We are taking a decision that hawking and daily collection will be completely stopped in Madhya Pradesh.
