Sehore. The struggle to get out the two-and-a-half-year-old Srishti, who fell in a borewell three hundred feet deep, continued for the second day as well. When Srishti fell into the borewell on Tuesday, she was trapped at a distance of 30 feet. But on Wednesday, she slipped 100 feet due to the vibrations happening during the digging of the machines. Srishti once got trapped in an iron hook during the NDRF rescue. He was slowly being pulled up.

Police detained farm owner Gopal

Meanwhile, the hook stuck in Srishti’s clothes slipped. Now army personnel are trying to get him out. At present, the entire area has been covered by the police and rescue teams. The borewell area has been covered with tents. The team of NDRF, SDRF and Police has started the rescue operation from 2 pm on Tuesday. Under the rescue operation going on for about 30 hours, a parallel pit is being dug at a distance of 5 feet with the help of more than 10 JCB and Poklen machines. The team could dig only 32 feet parallel to the bore till 11.30 am on Wednesday. After this the army also took charge. Here, the police have taken the farm owner Gopal into custody.

Pragya Thakur will take out Srishti by calling a robotic arm

Member of Parliament Pragya Singh Thakur reached Badi Mungaoli on Wednesday to take stock of the rescue operation. During this, he saw the rescue operation for some time and also gave guidelines to the administration. He said that if needed, he would bring Srishti out by calling a robotic arm from Delhi and Jodhpur. With the help of which the child will be taken out. The one who has done this negligence should be punished severely. He left the bore open, so that our baby girl fell into it. I say that if open borewells are found now, strict action will be taken along with fine.

We are doing our best to get the girl child out safely.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that efforts are on to retrieve the girl child, but she has slipped down due to vibration while digging. We have called the army and sent it to the spot. NDRF and SDRF are already working. We are making all out efforts to get the girl child out safely.

Hard stones are becoming an obstacle in the speed of rescue

SDM Aman Mishra told that an attempt was made to remove the borewell by hooking it, which could not be successful. Light water is seeping in the bore. District Panchayat CEO and Collector in-charge Ashish Tiwari told that the girl’s movements are not coming. The stones found below in the excavation are very hard. Due to the stones, there is a problem in digging. To break them, the stone is being broken by attaching a big drill machine to the claw of the poklen machine. This is the reason why the rescue is not progressing fast.
