Bhopal. Former minister and MLA (MLA) Sajjan Singh Verma has denied the news of the ongoing rebellion in Congress. He said that rebellion is nothing. He said that there are instructions from the senior leaders of the party that there will be no talk of any kind regarding the Chief Minister’s face in the state.

Referring to the meeting held between veteran leaders of the party, he said that all senior leaders were present in this meeting, Govind Singh was also present and Sajjan Verma was also present. Verma said that our leader is Kamal Nath and we will contest the 2023 assembly elections under the leadership of Kamal Nath. He said that this is clipping, on record.

Govind Singh also clarified on the statement

Leader of the Opposition Govind Singh made a statement on behalf of the Congress party regarding the face of the Chief Minister’s post. In which he had said that only after the elections, the one whom the elected MLA would like, would become the Chief Minister.

Regarding his statement, leaders of different parties, including the Congress party, started speculating whether Kamal Nath had backed down. However, Govind Singh has denied this statement and has also clarified that the election will be fought under the leadership of Kamal Nath.

Govind Singh has also alleged that his statement has been distorted. After that statement of Govind Singh, a meeting of Congress leaders took place. On which MLA Sajjan Singh Verma, denying the news of rebellion happening inside the party, informed that everything is fine among the party leaders.
