The Meteorological Department has today issued an orange alert of heavy rain in 5 districts of the state. Orange alert has been issued in Harda, Dindori, Seoni, Balaghat and Mandla. Mandsaur, Ratlam, Harda, Vidisha and Rajgarh received heavy rain on Sunday.

Yellow alert issued in these districts

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain and thundershowers in more than 24 districts of Madhya Pradesh. Singrauli, Anuppur, Sagar, Bhopal, Sidhi, Rewa, Satna, Shahdol, Agar Malwa, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Bhind, Anuppur and Umaria districts including districts of Narmadapuram, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior-Chambal and Jabalpur divisions. Yellow alert has been issued.
