Bhopal. What is the result of the assembly elections, it will be known later but at present lobbying has started in the party for the post of Chief Minister. Earlier, BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya and Union Minister Faggan Singh Kulaste had staked claim on this. Now another prominent leader of the state BJP, state PWD Minister Gopal Bhargava has also expressed his desire to become the Chief Minister by using his guru as a medium. Apart from Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Patel, MPs Rakesh Singh and VD Sharma, who are contesting the assembly elections, are also said to be contenders for the post of Chief Minister. Among these, VD Sharma is the only one who is not contesting the assembly elections yet. Supporters of Narendra Tomar and Prahlad are also campaigning by calling them future Chief Ministers.
Bhargava said this quoting the Guru
What Gopal Bhargava said in a meeting of his area came into the limelight. He said that Guru wishes that I should contest another election. This may also be my last election. This time BJP is not contesting the elections putting forward the face of the Chief Minister. This means that anyone can become the Chief Minister after the elections. Bhargava said that perhaps it is God’s will that he wants me to contest the elections on the orders of his Guru. It is possible that after the elections I may become the Chief Minister. In this way, one more contender for the post of Chief Minister has been added to BJP.
Bhargava’s claim is not weak
In whatever context Gopal Bhargava may have said this, his claim on the post of Chief Minister is not weak. He is contesting the assembly elections for the eighth time and has never lost an election. He has the title of invincible warrior. His claim is also strong because he has fulfilled the responsibility of Leader of Opposition in the Assembly. His wish expressed by using Guru as a medium has awakened hope among his supporters also.

Earlier, BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya had said that I am not contesting elections to become an MLA. After the elections I will get bigger responsibility. After this I will do big things. On the other hand, tribal leader and Union Minister Faggan Singh Kulaste is being promoted by projecting him as the Chief Minister. His supporters are putting Kulaste’s photo in place of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the banners.
