MP News: RGPV issues exam related instructions to all colleges

Bhopal. The capital-based Rajiv Gandhi Technological University on Tuesday issued examination guidelines for affiliated colleges and examination centres. These instructions have been issued for the upcoming examinations of undergraduate and postgraduate courses to be held in December-2023. Colleges and examination centers will have to follow the 43-point guidelines issued by Dr. Prashant Kumar Jain, controller of examinations of RGPV.

These are the main guidelines

All students will have to reach the examination center 50 minutes before the scheduled time. It will be completely prohibited for girl students to bring big bags and mobiles etc. to the examination centre. Candidates can bring water bottle and necessary medicines (which they are already using) with them. Apart from this, candidates will have to bring with themselves the approved material for faculty-wise use, including steam table, SI code, machine design data book and charts etc. So that it can be used during the examination. Only teachers from colleges affiliated to RGPV will be made invigilators. There are instructions to provide the list of observers along with their designation to the observers every day. All practical and theory examinations to be held in December-2023 will be conducted under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. The recording of CCTV cameras of these examinations will have to be compulsorily submitted to the university or nodal center and receipt for the same will be obtained.

If the number of students is more in practical examinations, then not more than two candidates should be made to appear in oral or viva examination simultaneously. There are instructions to give information about the number of candidates to the external examiner in advance. Apart from this, the examination centers will have to follow the guidelines of a total of 43 other points.
