MP News: OBC Satyagraha Yatra is being organized in Gwalior Chambal division, demanding this from the government

 Gwalior. Vidhansabha elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh this year and are concerned with the government regarding this and are putting forward their demands. In this sequence, OBC Satyagraha Yatra is being organized in Gwalior Chambal division for the constitutional rights of Madhya Pradesh backward classes. This event has started from 10 August 2023. Through this journey, the OBC community is undertaking a walk with the demand of removing transgender from the OBC category.

This walking tour is going to go to 34 Vidhansabha of Gwalior Chambal division, which includes Shivpuri, Guna, Shivpuri, Ashok Nagar, Datia, Bhind, Morena etc. districts, this journey is to end in Gwalior.

This is 14 point demand

  1. Representation should be ensured in MLA, Judiciary, Executive, private sectors and promotion by conducting caste census of OBCs.
  2. By abolishing the collegium system, the Indian Judicial Service was formed for the recruitment of judges in the Supreme / High Court.
  3. The recommendations of the Mandal Mahajan Commission should be fully implemented.
  4. Desi reservation should be included in the 9th schedule of the constitution by implementing 52% reservation for OBCs in proportion to their numbers.
  5. 125 seats should be reserved in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly for backward classes in proportion to their numbers.
  6. Vacant posts of OBC (Baikal) in government departments should be filled immediately
  7. Based on the recommendations of the Swaminathan Commission constituted for the welfare of farmers and M.S. P. The law should be implemented.
  8. The transgender community (eunuchs) who were forcibly added to the OBC category should be removed.
  9. M.B.C. Representation on the lines of other states should be ensured to bring castes into the mainstream.
  10. The annual income limit for scholarship of OBC students should be increased from three lakh to twelve lakh per year.
  11. In the government job recruitment process, the single post system should be abolished and strict compliance should be ensured.
  12. Uniform free education, health system should be implemented. Hostels with all facilities should be arranged for OBC students at district and tehsil level.
  13. The employees should be regularized by abolishing guest lecturer teacher contract, outsource system and daily wage earner system.
  15. To ensure mutual harmony, brotherhood and social, economic and political participation among backward castes.
