MP NEWS:Indore.LP Logistics, the contract logistics and warehousing arm of Liladhar Pashu Group, announces expansion of its capacity in Indore, one of India’s fastest growing economic areas. According to a recent report on the Indian warehousing market, Indore recorded a warehousing transaction volume of 0.14 million square meters (1.5 million square feet) in FY2023, compared to 0.05 million square meters (0.5 million square feet) in FY2019. Thus, it has registered a growth of 208% in the last four years. FY23 saw high demand for warehousing space from manufacturing players, with the Indore region alone accounting for 51% of the total transaction volume.

The Indore-Dewas cluster forms a major warehousing hub and comprises 81% of the leasing volume in FY23. Along with this, it also includes warehouses supplying sectors like retail, FMCD and third-party logistics. Dewas Naka is considered to be the first warehousing cluster of the city, as it is equipped with better infrastructure of 3×3 lane roads. At the same time, Pithampur is a manufacturing cluster, on which the automobile sector is responsible. It has been identified for implementation of the Industrial Infrastructure Up-gradation Scheme (IIUS) by the Central Government. Furthermore, it falls under the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) impact area and has India’s first green zone operational SEZ.
