MP News: Digvijay Singh accuses two IAS of Finance Department of scams worth Rs 250 crore, complaint to EOW

MP News: Three days before the counting of votes for Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha member Digvijay Singh made a big allegation against two IAS officers of the state government. He has complained to the EOW against Finance Department officers IAS Ajit Kesari and Dnyaneshwar Patil. Along with this, he has also made available WhatsApp chat and audio CD of both.

According to the complaint, a scam of Rs 250 crore was committed by the Finance Department officials by taking the Finance Minister into confidence to give the work of IFMS system implemented in the State Ministry to a favored firm. For this, Tata group companies like TCS were excluded by putting arbitrary conditions in the tender. After this, the process of awarding the contract to Terra Technology Limited, Gurgaon was started. According to the complaint, the role of Finance Minister Jagdish Deora as well as Additional Chief Secretary Ajit Kesari in this scam has also been described as suspicious. Apart from this, another IAS officer Dnyaneshwar Patil is accused of being involved in the scam by colluding with company representatives. Earlier this tender was for Rs 200 crore, which was increased to Rs 247 crore when the agency was decided.

Transaction worth Rs 50 crore

There is an allegation of transaction of about Rs 50 crore in the entire tender scam. In the complaint, it has been said that the bribe amount will be given to the concerned officials and minister through various means. Chatting took place on WhatsApp on various occasions between ACS Finance Ajit Kesari, Dnyaneshwar Patil, Commissioner of Treasury and Accounts and Devesh Agarwal, a resident of Gwalior, working for Prityush Reddy, Director of Pixel Wide Solution, an Andhra Pradesh company, working from Terra Technology Limited, Gurgaon. The letters have been given along with the complaint.

Digvijay Singh said – register priority

Former CM Digvijay Singh wrote in his complaint to the DG of EOW that he had received a complaint from two Indian Administrative Service officers. In MP, two IAS officers of Finance Department have committed a scam of Rs 250 crore. On the basis of the documents and audio CD given along with the complaint, he demanded action by registering a case against both the officers under the Corruption Act.
