MP ELECTION:Bhopal. Due to voting on 17th November in the districts of the state including the capital, liquor shops will be closed after 6 pm on 15th November. Similarly, all the shops in the districts will be kept closed on 3rd December, the day of counting.
As per the instructions issued by the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, an order in this regard has been issued. According to the order issued, it will be mandatory to follow this rule. During this period, all 87 liquor shops in Bhopal city will remain closed.

As per the order issued by Collector Bhopal, Chief Electoral Officer, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Government, Commercial Tax Department, Ministry, Vallabh Bhawan, Bhopal issued instruction number FB-1-27/2008/2/five, Bhopal dated 19.10.2023 and paragraph of Madhya Pradesh Gazette (Extraordinary) number 62 dated 22.02.2023 -37.2 and as per instructions given in Excise Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior’s letter no./7-Contract/Nirv./2023/1273.dated 26.10.2023, during Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election-2023, I Ashish Singh, Collector and District Election Officer, District-Bhopal, I order to declare dry days by banning the sale of liquor on the following dates in Bhopal district.
According to the subject, on dry days, all composite liquor shops located and operating within the boundaries of the entire district, all restaurant bars (F.L. 2) and all hotel bars (F.L. 3). – 3 ) Civilian Club Bar (F.L. 4A) Soldier Wholesale Canteen (F.L. 6) Soldier Retail Canteen (F.L. 7). F. l. – It should be ensured that import/export, transportation, purchase, sale and supply of liquor from 10A/B, retail outlets and other licensed centers approved for wine sale and the country liquor warehouse located at Jinsi Square in the district and the foreign liquor warehouse located at Gandhinagar are completely banned. . It should be ensured that the above order is strictly followed.
