mp crime gwaliorThe crime branch police has arrested two accused in connection with the sale of duplicate cement of UltraTech Cement Company. Police have seized 30 fake cement bags of Ultratech Company and a three wheeler small vehicle from the possession of the accused.
The manager of UltraTech Company, Gwalior had informed the police that after surveying the market by the company, it was found that fake cement bags were being sold in the name of the same company. Taking cognizance of the matter, the police reached the accused and nabbed them with evidence.
Revealed during vehicle checking
On the complaint action, the police team, while conducting a checking campaign of vehicles at the old cantonment Atal Gate, stopped and searched a blue colored vehicle, in which 30 cement sacks were found in the name of UltraTech Company. When the police asked the driver for a valid bill and challan related to cement, he denied having any paper.
During this, after calling the manager of the company and getting the cement verified, it was found that the stitching, printing and color of all the seized sacks were found to be completely different from the original UltraTech company and it was also confirmed that the cement made was completely Fake from. After this, the police took the driver into custody and reached the main accused.
