Indore. Assembly elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh this year. Due to which both Congress and BJP have intensified the election preparations. This is the reason that today is going to be bigger than political tone in Indore. Where on one side Home Minister Amit Shah is coming to Indore, on the other hand former Chief Minister and State Congress President Kamal Nath is also present in Indore today.
Where he first received blessings by anointing Lord Shiva at Baneshwar Dham located in Baan Ganga at 10:00 am along with former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh. After this, at 11 o’clock, Kamal Nath along with Digvijay Singh and NSUI National Convener Kanhaiya Kumar participated in the importance of change in attitude towards women program organized by Mahila Congress at Radisson Hotel.
In this program, Kamal Nath said that till 10 years ago, on the priority and publicity of women, it never happened that we should tell everyone how women are coming forward in competitive exams. I do not believe in the government’s plan. Women themselves should come forward. Beneficiaries themselves tell where there is deficiency.
After this, when Kamal Nath was asked about the role of women in judiciary and media, he said, do you want me to comment. There is a pen in the hands but the hands are tied. You ask the judges how they do the selection. We can give opinion in the selection of judges. Many things are merit based and women have merit. Women should also get a chance in print. Only men cannot be good editors. There can be women too.
After this program, Kamal Nath is going to participate in the Adivasi Yuva Mahapanchayat program at Nakshatra Garden along with former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh and NSUI National Convenor Kanhaiya Kumar.
