Vidisha News: Madhya Pradesh BJP’s senior leader and former Finance Minister Raghavji has got relief in the sexual harassment case. Raghavji was accused of sexual exploitation by his employee Rajkumar Dangi in 2003 in the much publicized sexual abuse case. An FIR was registered by the Bhopal police under section 377. In protest against this, a demand was made by Raghav to cancel the FIR in the Jabalpur High Court.

After a long time of about 10 years in the case, Jabalpur High Court has ordered to cancel all the FIRs against Raghavji as an interim order. As soon as the information about this judgment came, a wave of congratulation to Raghav ji started on social media in Vidisha. A crowd of people gathered at Raghav ji’s residence since morning. People were seen congratulating Raghav ji by feeding him flowers, garlands and sweets.

In this whole matter, Raghav ji says that the truth has won and the conspiracy has been exposed. I had full faith in the judiciary, belatedly the right decision has been taken. There was a heavy burden on the head which has now been removed. I was completely innocent and now I have been declared innocent by the court also. While contesting elections, Raghavji said that I will never contest any election in future.

A single bench of Jabalpur High Court Justice Sanjay Dwivedi has said in its order that an FIR has been lodged at the behest of rivals to tarnish the image of a person holding an important portfolio in state politics. Maliciousness is clearly present in the criminal proceedings, the single bench has ordered to quash the FIR.
