Gwalior: In Madhya Pradesh, there is a continuous increase in the cases of atrocities against women. The story of atrocities against women is not a new one. Where a drunken husband tried to make his wife drink alcohol, but when the wife refused, the husband got angry and brutally beat the wife to death. After which the victim was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Police arrested the accused

According to the information, Lakshmi, a resident of Gol Paharia of Gwalior, along with Bhai Dharmendra, reached the SP office in the public hearing. The victim told that she was married to Kalu alias Vishnu Pal of Falka Bazar. After marriage, husband and in-laws started torturing her for dowry. On July 27, the husband forced her to drink alcohol, when she protested, locked her in the room and tied her hands and feet and beat her with iron bars.

Sections of FIR were increased against the accused

When the police officers heard about his agony, the sections were increased in the FIR lodged at Inderganj police station and the accused was arrested. ASP Rishikesh Meena told that the JAH superintendent has been asked to provide all the documents related to the treatment of the woman to the investigating officer. Presently the condition of the woman is fine.
