Govind Singh Lahar: There has been a stir in the state after the news of postal ballots of government employees going missing before the counting of votes for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. The matter has come to light from Lahar Assembly. Congress leader and Leader of Opposition Govind Singh has made a big allegation against the administration. Govind Singh has alleged that postal ballot papers of government employees of Lahar have gone missing. Officials do not have information about where the postal ballots were kept.
Govind Singh has said that the District Collector and SDM are also not aware of the postal ballot. Both the officers do not know where the postal ballots are kept. According to Gaonid Singh, about 600 government employees have been deprived of voting. Govind Singh has complained over phone to State Election Officer Anupam Rajan regarding the matter.
