DIGVIJAY SINGH NEWS: Digvijay wrote a letter to CM Shivraj, know what is the demand

Bhopal . Assembly elections are due in Madhya Pradesh later this year. For which both Congress (MP CONGRESS) and BJP (MP BJP) are working hard. Nowadays former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh (DIGVIJAY SINGH) is playing an important role in the election campaign of Congress. In the sequence in which he is raising many matters related to the public.

In this sequence, a letter has been written by former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan (CM SHIVRAJ). In this letter, Digvijay has requested to vacate the land of Ratia Kol, a resident of Kalhara village of Vijay Raghavgarh assembly constituency of Katni district, from the mafia and provide security to the family and give compensation to Ratia.

Digvijay Singh’s letter

Dear Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan,

I am bringing to your notice another case of theft of mineral wealth worth lakhs of rupees by mining on the land of a tribal family in Katni district. The police and administration are not taking any action as the accused family is the district BJP office bearer. The local MLA of your party also has open protection to those who loot mineral wealth.

Last week, I went on a tour of Vijayraghaugarh tehsil to meet the aggrieved tribal families in Katni district. Where the local residents put forth the case of harassment of Ratia Kol, a resident of Kalhara village. Ratia Kol has 2.00 hectares of land in Bichpura Village Khasra No. 1037 / 1,2,3. The sons of Vishwanath Gupta, who was the treasurer of the district BJP, have encroached on this land. Rahul and Mukesh Gupta, directors of Saroj Minerals, encroached upon Ratia Kol’s land. When Ratia Kol demarcated the land, illegal mining was found on one acre out of 5 acres of land. When the aggrieved farmer Ratia Kol went to demand compensation from the Gupta brothers, she was abusing and chased away.

For the past 6 months, Ratia has filed applications from Barhi police to all the major offices in the capital, demanding removal of encroachment from her land and compensation. But he has not been heard at any level. Ratia alleges that no hearing is taking place due to the patronage of the ruling party including the MLA to the Gupta brothers.

Many cases of illegal encroachment on the land of tribal farmers of Katni district are coming to the fore. Local people say that the mining mafia has direct protection from the ruling party. That’s why the district administration is not able to dare to take any action.

I humbly request you that SCST should be initiated against the accused and against the police personnel who protected them. A case should be registered under the Act. In the case of Ratia Kol, take the trouble to remove the encroachment immediately and give compensation to the victim’s family.

I will be grateful to you for your cooperation.
