Mandla Lok Sabha election 2024: Maniram Kanware, an employee posted on election duty in Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh, died suddenly. He was a resident of Nakawal village of Bichhiya development block. Civil surgeon Dr. Vijay Dhurve has expressed fear of heart attack. However, this will be confirmed after the post mortem report.

Voting in 6 Lok Sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh including Mandal is on 19 April 2024. On April 18, the employees deployed for election work are being given EVMs, VVPAT machines and other materials and are being sent to the polling booths. Employees started arriving at the Polytechnic College campus in Mandla from Wednesday night itself. On the morning of April 18, Maniram Kanvere, an employee who had come for election duty, died.
