Bhopal.Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended the Bhagoriya festival of tribal community in Alirajpur and also performed Bhagoriya dance with traditional tribal costumes. Chief Minister Shivraj, who reached here, made a flurry of announcements. He said that Bhagoriya would be celebrated as a state festival and it would be given a place as a cultural heritage. Chouhan also announced renovation of Baba Chhitu Kirad’s fort in village Sorva, construction of his grand memorial and installation of statue of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad in Alirajpur. The Chief Minister said that a road of 3 km length will also be constructed from Rani Kajal Mata Mandir at Sondwa to Dhanbaidi.

Narmada water will reach a large area of ​​Alirajpur

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that through the Narmada Udvahan Sinchai Yojana, work is being done to deliver Narmada water to a large area of ​​Alirajpur district. With the irrigation scheme, the fields of the district will flourish, which will lead to the development of the area. He said that a survey will be conducted soon to reach Narmada water in 106 villages of Sondwa development block. In the fields of our tribal brothers and sisters, where water is not coming from the canals, water will be supplied to the fields by laying pipelines there.
