Burhanpur. News of a suicide is coming to light in the district. It is being told that Khaknar District Panchayat President of the district Pooja Dadu has committed suicide. After Pooja Dadu’s hanging, as soon as her family members saw her, she was immediately brought to a private hospital. Where Pooja was declared dead by the doctors.
Seeing the incident, BJP MP Dnyaneshwar Patil and BJP District President Manoj Ladhave reached the spot and tried to handle the situation. Deceased Pooja Dadu is the younger daughter of late MLA Rajendra Dadu and her elder sister Manju Dadu is the vice-chairman of the Mandi Board. There is currently no information about the reasons for Pooja Dadu’s suicide. Police is trying to gather information.
Pooja Dadu, daughter of former MLA late Rajendra Dadu, who became Khaknar district president about a year ago and sister of current Madhya Pradesh Marketing Board Vice President Manju Dadu, committed suicide by hanging herself late on Saturday night. The cause of death is not clear at the moment. The family took him to a private hospital in Burhanpur at around 11:30 pm. Here the doctors declared him dead. BJP District President Manoj Ladhave confirmed this and called it an irreparable loss for the party. On the second day on Sunday morning, Pooja’s post-mortem was done at Burhanpur District Hospital and the body was handed over to the family. At 11 in the morning the body reached his home village Kanapur where a crowd of people gathered. Collector Bhavya Mittal, SP Devendra Patidar etc. have also reached Kanapur.

In July 2022, after Burhanpur Municipal Corporation, Burhanpur district, BJP had also established its dominance over Khaknar district. Here Pooja Dadu became the president of BJP after snatching this seat from Congress. In the election, BJP supported Pooja Dadu got 16 votes, Congress supported Rajesh Solanki got 9 votes.
