Congress MLA Kamlesh Shah joined BJP: BJP has given a big blow to Congress in Chhindwara, the stronghold of former Chief Minister Kamal Nath. Congress MLA from Chhindwara district Kamlesh Shah resigned from the legislature and joined BJP. Before leaving the legislature, there was a long discussion in the CM House with Kamlesh Shah for almost two hours. During this, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Panchayat Minister Prahlad Patel and former Home Minister Narottam Mishra and other leaders were present.

Kamlesh Shah is a member of the Harrai royal family. He was elected MLA from Amarwada Assembly seat for the third consecutive time in 2023. Earlier, he had also become MLA on Congress symbol in 2018 and 2013. He was counted among the leaders close to Kamal Nath.

Kamal Nath is far away from the ground reality
