Along with this, efforts will be made to control dust particles by installing green nets around the construction sites. If garbage is burnt anywhere, action will be taken against it. On Monday, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Pawan Sharma met Collector Ashish Singh, Corporation Commissioner Frank Noble A. regarding the Air Quality Index (AQI). He took a meeting with other responsible officers and gave necessary instructions.

Here, air pollution reduced as wind speed increased, mercury dropped with increase in humidity, crossed 16 degrees at night.

A decrease in the amount of pollution has been recorded in the capital on Monday due to a slight increase in the wind speed. Collectorate and TT Nagar areas of the city were shifted from very poor category to poor category on Monday. At the same time, the environment complex area remained in the very poor category on Monday also. Due to some increase in wind speed as well as humidity, the day temperature in most of the districts of the state fell on Monday, while the night temperature increased by an average of half a degree. Due to this, the effect of cold at night was reduced. Currently, due to south-easterly and easterly winds in the state, the amount of moisture in the air has increased, due to which the night temperature has increased. There was some decline due to movement of clouds during the day. According to the weather centre, there will not be much change in the weather on Tuesday. According to meteorologist AK Shukla, due to the prevailing south-easterly and easterly winds, some moisture is increasing in the air, which is causing clouds and drop in temperature. There is a slight increase in the night temperature. This sequence will continue for two days. After this, another western disturbance will come, which will not have much impact. It may remain cloudy at some places in the state.

The mercury came close to 31 degrees during the day

On Monday, the day temperature in Bhopal fell by 1.7 degrees to 30.6 degrees, which is 1.5 degrees more than normal. At night it increased by 3 degrees to 16.1 degrees. This is 1.7 degrees more than normal.

AQI of the city came under control

Some reduction in the amount of pollution in the city’s air was recorded on Monday. According to the data recorded on the online monitoring system of Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board, AQI remained poor on average in three major areas of the city. It was recorded at 300 in Collectorate area and 277 in TT Nagar. Both these areas remained in poor category. Whereas in the environmental complex, AQI has been recorded as Very Poor at 310. Here the amount of PM 2.5 was 132.74 and PM 10 was 185.08. According to experts, the main reason behind the reduction in the amount of PM 2.5 and PM 10 in the air was the reduction in dust and smoke. On Monday, due to the wind speed being around 10 to 12 km per hour in the city and surrounding areas, there was a reduction in dust and smoke, due to which it is natural to see a reduction in air pollution. Before this, the wind speed in the city remained between 8 to 10 km for the last four days, due to which the amount of pollution has increased.
