Bhopal; Assembly elections are going to be held in Madhya Pradesh at the end of the year. In view of this, every section is trying to fulfill its demands by targeting the government. In this series, now outsourced and electricity employees have also opened a front against the government. Let us tell you that today lakhs of outsourced employees protested vigorously in Ambedkar Park, Bhopal. Also warned of violent agitation if their demands are not met.
Demonstration is taking place regarding these demands including old pension
Employees from different places arrived to join this movement. Also raised voice against the government regarding their demands. In fact, the state government has been continuously ignoring the demands of the employees, which include old pension, salary of clerks at par with the ministry, regularization of PHE employees, many demands of teachers. Which has not been completed by the government. Officers and employees of many departments are worried about their demands.
Kamal Nath met electricity workers
Along with this, electricity employees also protested against the government in large numbers today and raised slogans. After which PCC Chief Kamal Nath reached to meet the employees and met them regarding their demands. Kamal Nath also supported their demands. In fact, there are 15000 Electricity Officer employees and 52000 pensioners working in the state who have been fighting for their demands for a long time, but till now their demands have not been considered, due to which they staged a protest at Govindpura Electricity Headquarters today. There are many demands including assured arrangement for pension of employees and pensioners and restoration of old pension.
10 point demands of employees
=Privatization of electricity department should be stopped, contractual appointment of retired employees should be stopped.
= According to Public Resolution 2013, electricity contract employees should be regularized.
= The old pension scheme (OPS) should be implemented and the pension of pensioners should be paid from the government treasury like the Uttar Pradesh government.
= Pay discrepancy of all classes should be removed.
= Outsourced employees should be taken back, employees should be made permanent by making a policy and salary should be increased on the basis of experience.
= Home district transfer policy should be made for class III and IV employees.
=The policy of compassionate appointment should be improved.
= New recruitment should be done by promotion on vacant posts on the basis of merit.
=Medical Claim Policy should be implemented by amending the organizational structure.
= Fringe benefit facilities pending for years should be implemented.
