BHOPAL FRAUD NEWS:Bhopal. A vicious thug has committed a robbery while committing fraud with a retired officer of a bank in the city. The fraudster has committed the crime of cheating a retired officer in the name of updating KYEC.
After getting the information about the OTP received on the mobile phone of the victim, living in Kolar area of Bhopal, the accused, while engaging in conversation, immediately transferred the money from his bank account. Realizing that she was cheated, the victim reached the police station and registered a case.

Giving information, the SI posted at Kolar police station said that the victim Prithviraj Verma, aged 77 years, is retired as an officer from a bank. He is a resident of 98 Palace Achand North Phase-3, Kolar. After the incident of cheating, he reached the police station and complained to the police that this incident happened to him on January 27, 2023. The accused had transferred Rs 25,000 from the victim’s account by taking the OTP of the message received on his mobile. The complainant had complained to the cyber police in this regard. This case has now also been sent to Kolar police station. Kolar police has registered a case of cheating against unknown accused.
