Bhopal. The incidents of theft and vandalism are continuously increasing in the outer areas of the capital. Especially the farm houses of Ratibad are the target of thieves. Just two days ago, miscreants had broken the lock of the health department official Dr Veenha Sinha’s farm and stolen the goods. Now the thieves broke the lock of another farm house and stole cash and silver items. Here, cash and jewelery were stolen from a house in Bajaria. Police have registered a case against unknown thieves in both the cases.

According to the police, Ashish Jain (43) lives in Santosh Farm House Ratibar and works as a supply of medicines to medical stores. On November 11 at around 12 noon, he left his wife at his sister-in-law’s house living in Lalghati and went to his native Bina in Sagar district to celebrate Diwali. When he returned around five o’clock on Friday evening, he found the lock of the farm house broken. When they went inside and checked, they stole Rs 15,000 in cash, an old silver bowl and silver anklets along with other items kept in the cover.

Thieves enter house, steal thousands of rupees

Here, thieves stole goods worth thousands of rupees including gold and silver jewellery, sarees and cash from the open house of Babulal Mewada, resident of Purushottam Nagar Phase-1 under Bajaria police station. Police have registered cases in both the cases and started searching for the accused.

Incident also took place in the farm house of Dr Vinhan Sinha.

Police said that Chatur Narayan Prajapati (31) is a resident of village Bilkheda police station Ratibad. He lives with his wife and does watchmanship at the farm house of Dr. Hemant Sinha and Vinhan Sinha located on Khudaganj Kerwa Road. Chatur Narayan had gone to Kaliyasot for his work at around 9 am on Thursday morning, while his wife went to Katju Hospital to get medicines. When the watchman returned to the farm house around five in the evening, a gas cylinder kept in the farm house was missing. He informed about this to the owner of the farm house and later reached the police station and lodged a theft report.

Night patrolling police team caught mother-in-law and daughter-in-law

On Saturday morning, the police caught the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law red-handed while stealing the radiator of a dumper, hydrolink equipment of JCB and copper wire from the construction company of industrial area Govindpura in Ashoka Garden police station area. Police have registered a case of theft against them on the complaint of a company employee. The women are being interrogated about other incidents of theft. According to the police, the police team was patrolling at night. During this time on Saturday morning, two women were seen carrying radiators, JCB hydraulic equipment, copper wire and other items in their hands. When the police interrogated the women about the goods, they told that they had stolen the said goods from Kundleshwar Construction Company located in H Sector. On the complaint of company employee Kamal Singh Patel, police have registered a case against the women and seized the goods. The women belong to Pardi community.
