Jammu-Kashmir: An explosion occurred in a scrap factory in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. The explosion was so dangerous that one person died in it, while four people were injured. The information of the accident was given. After this, the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment. Police has registered the case and started its further action.
According to the information, the place where the explosion took place is a scrap factory and is located in Bari Brahman area of Samba district. Suddenly there was an explosion in this factory. After this the local people informed the police. However, the cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained. Police has reached the spot and is probing the matter.
Samba’s SSP Benam Tosh has reached the spot as soon as he got information about the accident. Giving information on the whole incident, he said that one person was killed and six people were injured due to the explosion of a mortar shell in the scrap factory. Along with this, he said that the deceased has been identified as Mohan Lal, a resident of Rajouri. He said that the mortar shells are brought here after neutralisation. In this factory, work is done on these useless balls. At the same time, he further said that there is no terrorist angle in this incident.
