Where youth from 18 to 30 years old is not visible. In it there are more than half a dozen villages of Safidon and Pillukheda, including the villages of Morkhi, Dhatharath, Alanjogi Kheda and Malshree Kheda. Also in the city of Jind, instead of coaching centers for competitive exams, there is a flood of institutes preparing for IELTS and PET. These institutions approached the villages. Despite this, more young people than donkeys end up abroad.

The village of Morkhi, about 19 kilometers from the district headquarters, has a population of about eight thousand. In the village, agriculture is practiced on 1415 hectares. In the last two years, more than 550 young people from the village have gone abroad. Young people between the ages of 18 and 30 are not visible in the village. European countries, including America, Canada and Germany, have the highest number of young people. Some youngsters have also gone to Australia. The main reason is to go abroad, earn money and create a bright future for you and your family. There are half a dozen young people who have been detained and deported for illegal entry abroad.

Cases of fraud in the name of shipping abroad are increasing

Cases of fraud in the name of sending young people abroad are also constantly increasing and both educated and untrained young people are becoming their victims. The first choices of youth are America, Australia and Canada. Now we turn to European countries like Germany and Italy. On average, eight to ten cases reach the police every month. Morkhi village Sarpanch representative Sandeep Kumar said more than 550 youths from the village were abroad. There are some youngsters who have even been sold their land to be sent abroad. More young people have gone abroad in the last six months. The reason for going abroad is the lack of job opportunities and the distribution of agricultural land. Some have also been victims of fraud. Now there is also a change in wages abroad. The wage used to be $15 to $18 an hour. Now wages are paid from two to two and a half thousand dollars a month.

Fireworks and DJs at midnight

The villagers said that if there were fireworks at night and a DJ was playing, it simply means that some youths from the village had traveled abroad. When the donkey enters a foreign country, the relatives will be informed. So the fireworks begin. Afterwards, the party will also be celebrated by a DJ.

Fly abroad by selling land

The family members even sell their land to go abroad. Agents charge 30 to 50 lakhs for overseas. Money is also collected from relatives. There are more than 50 such people in the village who have even sold their land to send their family members abroad. There are also two or three who sold land abroad and then bought it back after making dollars there. Most of the youth who have left the village abroad are struggling to fulfill family dreams abroad, but the youth are stuck or trapped due to legality there.

Online marriage, daughter-in-law is also preparing to go abroad

According to the villagers, three marriages were made online in the village. The young man is abroad. Daughter in law comes home. After the arrival of the daughter-in-law, it became known that an online marriage took place with a young man sitting abroad. The same applies if the daughter-in-law is taken to the temple or village farm without taking the boy to the service. Then preparations begin to send the daughter-in-law abroad. For which arrangements are made in advance.
