Traffic accident: Father and son die in collision between bus and bicycle

Mahendragarh: A terrible road accident took place on the main Satnali road on Friday. The accident occurred between Khatodada village and Balana where a Haryana Roadways bus and a bike collided head-on. In this painful road accident, the father died on the spot while the son was seriously injured and was taken to Mahendragarh Civil Hospital for treatment where the doctors also declared the son brought dead. The deceased are Sunil and Jatin, residents of Rajawas village. There is sadness in the village and in the family because of two simultaneous deaths in the house. The police conducted an autopsy on the deceased, handed over the bodies to the relatives, filed a complaint against the bus driver and initiated an investigation.

In the complaint filed with the police, Dharampal, a resident of Rajawas village, said that his grandson Sunil and son Jatin came to Mahendragarh from the village on October 13 to work on a motorcycle. When his grandson Sunil reached Khatodara village on Satnali road from Mahendragarh, the driver of a Haryana Roadways bus came from Mahendragarh and drove the bus very fast and carelessly. The driver of the road bus hit his grandson Sunil’s bike directly from the front. He reached the spot backwards. His grandson Sunil and son Jatin fell after being hit by the bus. Due to the road bus driver’s negligence, his grandson Sunil and son Jatin died on the spot. He then took both of them to Mahendragarh Civil Hospital with the help of an ambulance, where doctors declared the grandsons Sunil and Jatin dead. Dharampal demanded that the police take legal action against the bus driver. The police have registered a case against the bus driver and are investigating.
