Mahendragarh Narnaul News:The Panches of Bhungarka have submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner requesting him to hand over the leadership of the Panchayat to the MLA of Halka, Dr. Abhay Singh Yadav, to hand over. He has accused the MLA of obstructing the process of reinstating the suspended sarpanch. Due to this, the development work of the village has come to a standstill and students are facing difficulties in obtaining various certificates. The development works will gain momentum when the MLA is given the charge of Panchayati.

The panchas said that the government has issued a letter directing the panchayats to remove all illegal encroachments. As per the department’s instructions, the sarpanch had cleared about 90 hectares of land from encroachments with the mutual consent of the villagers. Some named people from the village had carried out illegal concrete construction work in an area of around 70 feet of the panchayat. After completing the panchayati notification and measurement process, the sarpanch sent the report to the department officials. Based on the same report, the unlawful interference was eliminated with the help of the police administration in the presence of the BDPO. While digging the foundation on the vacant land, a fight broke out between the said residents and the sarpanch. Police registered a case and sent the sarpanch to jail after the deputy commissioner received the report, which suspended the sarpanch. The sarpanch has been released from jail after being granted bail by the Supreme Court on November 8. He has also applied to the deputy commissioner for reinstatement, but the deputy commissioner has not reinstated the sarpanch yet. There is slight interference from the MLA behind this as Sarpanch Jagat Singh, who was a supporter of the MLA in the previous term, had gone to jail for dustbin fraud and forging signatures of panchas. After receiving the arrest report, the then deputy district commissioner had suspended the accused sarpanch. On the recommendation of the MLA, the then suspended sarpanch was immediately reinstated. He, however, was accused of embezzlement of panchayat funds. On the other hand, the current sarpanch has gone to jail over a dispute over the security of panchayat property. However, delaying their reinstatement is not justified. Enraged, all 15 panchayats of the panchayat came together and sent a memorandum to the deputy commissioner.

Punch boycotted the department meeting and refused to take command

After the suspension of the sarpanch, the deputy commissioner had given instructions to hand over the charge to the panch of the majority party. After this, the BDPO office had given an agenda to the panchas and called five meetings, but not a single one out of 15 panchas attended the meeting. The panchas say that the sarpanch is completely innocent. Now he has also been released from prison on bail. Therefore, the Sarpanch should be reinstated immediately so that various problems of the village can be resolved.
