Sonipat: The body of a 13-year-old girl was found under suspicious circumstances on the roof of a house in the village of Asadpur Nandanor, Murthal Police Station area. The girl was a 7th grade student. The student’s family members had gone to work as assistants. When her mother returned, the daughter was found unconscious on the terrace. She informed her husband of the matter. The girl was pronounced dead when she was taken to the hospital. The police took the body into custody and arranged for an autopsy. The autopsy confirmed that the girl was strangled. The same police say the rape will be confirmed after the autopsy report is available. The police are investigating the matter
The family of Gangaram, a resident of Tikamgarh in Madhya Pradesh, live in rented accommodation in Asadpur village in Murthal. He works as a bricklayer and his wife also works for him as a laborer. His stepdaughter Neetu (13) was a Grade VII student at the village government school. Gangaram told police that his daughter asked for the textbook to be picked up on Sunday morning. At the time, his wife had said that he had no money left. After that he went to work.
He had sent his wife home that afternoon to get the book for Neetu. His wife came home and called the neighboring shopkeeper that Neetu was lying unconscious on the terrace. He then reached the place and took the daughter to the civil hospital. Where his daughter was pronounced dead. He ordered the police not to do the autopsy and take the body to Madhya Pradesh, but the police asked to do the autopsy after seeing the mark on the neck. The police had the autopsy carried out by the medical association.
Murder by strangulation, fear of rape
The girl was strangled. Signs of injury were found on the girl’s neck. Injuries were also found on the leg of the same teenager. It is feared that the girl was raped, which is confirmed in the visceral report.

The family members said that he had been living and working hard in the Murthal area for four years. A month ago he had come here from Madhya Pradesh with his daughter Neetu. He only had him enrolled in the 7th standard after his arrival.
