The cleaning staff accused the company’s cleaning contractor and some officials of dictatorship. The demonstration was led by CITU District Treasurer Anand Sharma and Municipal Council President Bharat Kendera, Union President Ajay Kumar Talk and Secretary Naveen Kumar.
The workers’ representatives explained that the group’s contract cleaners had long been concerned about their demands. The officials give assurances every time, but cannot fulfill their demands. He told about his demands while giving a memorandum in the company. In the memorandum, the sanitation workers claimed a connection between company officials and the cleaning company. He informed that the contract for night cleaning of the city was awarded by the city company Sonipat to the company PCC. The number of employees is 68 at night, but fewer employees are forced to work, a mock hajria of 15-20 employees is imposed. Company contractors and officers are committing hundreds of thousands of rupees worth of fraud by distributing mills.
