Sonipat: This news comes as a relief to the talented players whose trials come in the way of their quest for national glory. The Central Board of School Education (CBSE) has announced exemption of these students from board exams. Students who study in board examinations and take part in sports competitions at national or international level will be examined later. In this regard, CBSE has issued a circular to all schools.

CBSE granted a concession to students who value sports along with studies: If a student participates in a sports competition and the travel or sports date falls in the middle of the exam, the student can appear in the examination after the sports competition. However, the competition should be held at national or international level or recognized by the Sports Authority of India. Only such students can benefit from this opportunity.

There were losses and people were disadvantaged.

10th and 12th grade students who participated in national, international, or recognized sports competitions were often excluded from participating in assignments due to competition. As a result, they had to suffer losses. CBSE has found a solution for such students. CBSE will conduct a special exam for class 10th and 12th students at a later date.

Notify the regional office by December 31

Players participating in various sports competitions held between exam dates are required to report the same to the regional office of CBSE along with certificates. The players were given until December 31st to do this. The board examinations are scheduled to take place in February-March 2024. Players will not be allowed to take the post-game test until applications are received.
